High in nutrients and 100% Organic Almost black in colour Lawngrow Mix is much lighter than standard topsoil by volume sprinkle over your garden at aprox 10mm depth prior to laying turf and give your lawn the perfect start.

read moreProper ground preparation is essential for the establishment and future well-being of your new lawn. Inadequately-prepared ground will never produce the best results. Existing turf should be removed by slicing beneath the grass with a spade. When deciding on topsoil our product is ideal for building up to new levels and improving existing poor quality soil. As a general rule you will require 1 tonne of topsoil to increase the height of 50 sq m of lawn by 25 mm (aprox 1 inch). In other words if you wanted to build up 50 sq m by say 3inches you will need 3 tonnes aprox.

read moreMow your lawn regularly and avoid cutting too low. Never cut more than 30% of the grass leaf area off in one mow. During the peak growing months of May - September it may be necessary to mow your lawn 2 - 3 times a week. Feed your lawn with small doses of a Nitrogen (N) rich fertiliser every 4 - 6 weeks through the growing season (or as directed on the product). This will ensure a lush appearance and reduce the risk of disease. Use a more balanced fertiliser (N, P, K) in the Autumn to help maintain a healthy lawn through the Winter months.

read moreOur seed grown Premier turf is suitable for anyone wanting a lawn with a luxury appearance and the durability required of many family lawns. All turf is cultivated from seed and is regularly treated for weeds. The seed mix is roughly 20 - 25% dwarf amenity rye grass (for surface durability) and 70 - 75% fescues (fine grasses for appearance and strength of rolls). Our Budget turf is still excellent quality but offers an affordable alternative for larger areas where costs can be accumulated. We do not use netting in the production of our turf.
