read moreAberdeen Care and Repair was established in 1998 to promote independent living in older people, people with disabilities and people with long-term health conditions. We offer advice and assistance to help homeowners repair, improve or adapt their homes, so that they can live in comfort and security within their own homes and communities. Over the years our service has expanded and changed in-line with the needs of older and disabled people. All of our services are available to older and disabled people in Aberdeen City.

read moreOnly residents of Aberdeen City can use our services. The majority of our customers are over 60-years of age and/or living with a disability or long-term illness. We assist owner-occupiers and tenants of private landlords. Tenants of social landlords can also use our services when the work required is not covered by their tenancy agreement.

read moreAberdeen Care & Repair Group Charitable Fund is a Registered Charity Reg. No. SC015306. The charity raises funding to help older and disabled people, and people with long-term health problems, to meet the costs for essential work required within the home, where clients are on a low fixed income and are unable to meet the costs themselves. Each case is assessed by Care and Repair staff, and the Management Committee where applicable. The fund is supported by the generosity of numerous donors in the city, a full list of which can be viewed here.
