read moreOur Snow Leopards class arose out of a six week Kung Fu course which we were asked to run for Cambridge City Council in the summer of 2012 for children and young people with a variety of physical and learning disabilities. The course was developed in collaboration with Adaptive Martial Arts UK and Ireland and was such a success that, with the Council's help, we were able to start a regular class. The Snow Leopards class has been created to cater for children and young people who simply require some extra assistance with their Kung Fu; in learning to move, think and act in a focused, fun and engaged way.
read moreThe Junior Warriors Programme is Cambridge Kung Fu's most mature children's class. The class is consistent with the classes that precede it, in terms of the structure of the class, and we still place a high emphasis on learning through play for example but we also start to talk more explicitly about the benefits that come from long term consistent martial arts training. Not just the physical benefits but the mental and emotional benefits also. We believe that there are few, if any, ways of spending your time that will contribute more to a person becoming the best version of themselves than time spent practising martial arts in an intelligent way.

If you are unable to find a space in the car-park then you are invited to use the car-park opposite, which belong to Hills Road Sixth Form College. You are able to access the car-park freely but will need to obtain a code from the Sports Centre Reception to exit the car-park. Parking: Netherhall Sports Centre has a large front car-park. There is also a rear car-park which can be accessed via the back left corner of the front car-park.
read moreThe Little Dragons classes form a natural progression from our Tiny Tigers classes in that a significant proportion of the class is still devoted to learning implicitly via fun games and play. We believe that the majority of children learn most effectively through play and certainly at this age we feel this is true. We aim to help the Little Dragons learn to differentiate between times when it is ok to be loud, relaxed, uninhibited and have fun, and other times when it is necessary to focus and be self disciplined.
