C.Middleton & Son
Funeral Services in Stockport, Greater Manchester
Good funeral practice is very much about tradition. Embedded in social and religious culture; the customs, ceremonials and procedures which mark the passing of a fellow human being are vital to the grieving process and the respect shown by family and friends to the person they have lost. Where better to entrust these sensitive issues than to a family firm whos values have been passed down from father to son over four generations.
We dont see our clients as customers, but as families who have come to us for assistance at a time of need. A funeral ceremony should be a reflection of the needs and feelings of those bereaved and, therefore, must be unique to those making the arrangements and attending. Having said that, many families are unsure of what is expected from them and that is where a sensitive and experienced funeral director can support and advise.

read moreToday, the legal procedures surrounding certification, registration and Coroners' requirements can be complicated and take some time to resolve before firm funeral arrangements can be put in place. That doesn't mean, however, that your funeral director cannot be working on your behalf to expedite matters and plan the funeral itself. As soon as death occurs, contact your funeral director as soon as possible to receive support, advice and clarification of all that is happening and the order in which to do things.
