read moreMy name is Anna White, I am a floral designer and owner of Buds Floristry. My floral studio is based on a farm in Wootton St. Lawrence near Basingstoke, Hampshire. I also live in the same village with my husband Ed and our black Labrador, Roxy. I've been working in the flower industry for 17 years and started to specialise in wedding floristry 12 years ago in 2008 when Buds was born. I have a wonderful and talented team of freelance florists who are always on hand to help me set up all of the beautiful wedding installations.

My favourite and most special moment of a wedding (after actually tying the knot of course), is when a newly married couple takes a look at their reception room all set up, before their guests arrive. The scent of flowers filling the room, the visual treat for the eyes and the romantic ambiance of tea lights twinkling away.

read moreI have been one of the recommended suppliers at Froyle Park since it opened as a wedding venue in 2014. Just like Northbrook it has peacocks and also a spectacular outdoor ceremony area. I've been recommended here since 2018. Also part of the Harbour Hotel group along with Northbrook and Froyle. Right in the city centre it has a glorious roof top terrace for ceremonies or reception drinks. Having just got their wedding licence in 2020, this is my most recent and second closest venue. This is definitely the venue for you if you want something a little different with cobbled streets where you can marry or hold your reception, in amongst vintage shops, vehicles and a working pub.
