This means things will be slightly different as there are safety measures in place and a bit more paperwork to fill in. We are using PPE and necessary protocols for a safe visit to our clinics are set up. Whilst in lockdown we have been recommending meditation, yoga and qi gong to all our patients, which are all good ways to take care of yourself in theses restricted times.

Hayfever
read moreAcupuncture really makes an enormous difference to some hay fever sufferers' lives. There is good evidence that acupuncture is better than medication at treating hayfever and it doesn't have the nasty side effects that medication can cause. I've suffered hay fever nearly all my life. After a couple of sessions with Al the improvement was amazing, and I could get on with enjoying the summer. Acupuncture for hayfever usually works very well if you start during the hayfever season. It can work even better though, if you start a month or so before your hayfever usually begins.
Bristol Acupuncture Practice
read moreDeb and Al have specialised in acupuncture for stress, anxiety and depression since 2003. With backgrounds in psychology and mental health work we have plenty of experience and have helped many people. I made an initial appointment to see Al seeking help for panic attacks, anxiety and extreme emotional distress. I could not recommend any therapist more highly. Our aim is that you leave your first appointment feeling much more relaxed, and that over time your strength builds. It is common that after a few treatments people begin to feel more robust and able to cope with life's ups and downs.
read moreAcupuncture can be very effective at treating sciatica. It can stop the pain, promote healing of an injured area and helps build your underlying energy or strength. Most people will feel some relief after the first treatment and many will be back to normal after 5 treatments. Some people may choose to have monthly sessions to stop the problem re-occuring. Sciatica is pain that goes from the buttock down the back or outside of the leg. It can travel right down the leg, into the ankle and foot, and as far as the toes.
