Boughton Health Centre is a purpose built NHS GP surgery. The practice moved to its current premises in October 1977 and has seen two major building extensions since. We're a six partner practice with 7 GP's, four nurses and two nursing healthcare assistants tending to the requirements of just over 11, 000 patients. We provide a complete overseas travel advice and immunisation service. In addition we're a Yellow Fever Centre and can provide this immunisation on the premises.

This practice offers the Electronic Prescription Service, so if you nominate a pharmacy, your GP will send all future prescriptions electronically to your preferred pharmacy. Yes you can. If you don't want your prescription to be sent electronically tell your GP. If you want to change or cancel your nomination speak to any pharmacist or dispensing appliance contractor that offers EPS, or your GP practice.

The PPG meets formally twice a year and is organised by a committee of 5 patients, who meet every 6-8 weeks, and the Chair also meets regularly with the Practice Manager. To improve this contact a Virtual Group was introduced to enable us to ask patients for their feedback/ views on key issues outside of the formal meetings and patients can raise issues/ queries with the group.
