Birchfield Prepcare Day Nursery

read moreWe are open 8am to 6pm, 52 weeks a year (excluding bank holidays and weekends) and offer full days, am sessions, pm sessions and short days. The nursery occupies a large attractive site near a residential estate. This is the third Prepcare Nursery to be opened. We have a large garden for our own use. Our outdoor space consists of lots of trees that are great in the summer for shade. We have a wood for "Forest School", there is a vegetable patch and our grounds overlook the field. We promote a positive, friendly and happy environment for all the children to grow and strive, and to play and develop.

read moreMy husband and I have our youngest child currently in the Baby room and we are beyond happy with the love and care that is given to our daughter. Over the years our three children have experienced three Shropshire Nurseries and we can confidently say that Prepcare is the best so far! I find the staff are very professional, friendly and caring. Our daughter beams literally when she sees Beth and Sarah and for her to go so happily to nursery is a blessing for me as a working Mum. I know my daughter is happy.

read moreOur After School Club runs from 3.15pm to 6.00pm during term time. Children are brought down by teaching staff and are signed into nursery. The children participate in activities that are planned for them and are also asked for their input into the planning. The children are given a chance to experience free play, allowing them to unwind after a day at school which is greatly appreciated! Our Holiday Club runs during the holidays from 8.00am to 6.00pm. Morning and afternoon sessions can be catered for.

read moreArnold Lodge Prepcare is situated within the Arnold Lodge School site in the lovely town of Leamington Spa. The nursery is spacious, attractive and light, there are three separate rooms catering for Babies (0-2 years), Toddlers (2-3 years) and Pre School (3-5 years). The staff team are highly qualified and strive to offer the very highest standards of care and education. The nursery is a caring and happy environment where children are supported in their learning through carefully planned activities.

Prepcare children benefit from Birchfield's idyllic rural setting and grounds, and as they get older enjoy specialist teaching from Birchfield School staff. When it is time to leave nursery, both Birchfield and Prepcare work together to deliver a smooth transition for those children taking up places in the Pre-Prep.

However, we believe strongly in planning and our experience is that properly planned play produces great results and our generous staff/ child ratios aid individual development. Our programme is evaluated daily so as to ensure that it serves the needs of each individual child. We also believe in building a strong partnership not only with parents, guardians or carers; but also with other nurseries, schools and outside agencies that may be involved in the care and learning of each individual child.

read moreAll Pre-school children will going to the local park to take park in bird week, the children will have their clipboards and binoculars ready to get spotting. I wonder what they will see. We will be holding 2 days for this event as there are lots of children moving on to their new adventures at school. The dates are Thursday 11the July and Friday 12th July. Miss Bowley will inform you of which day your child will be graduating. My daughters development has taken the most incredible trajectory since she began attending Prepcare.
