Barr can accept hazardous wastes, such as unwanted household and motor vehicle batteries, motor oil, cooking oil, and electrical equipment such as televisions, fridge-freezers and computers. Our civic amenity facilities at Garlaff and Heathfield are more than a match for these types of materials.

If you are in any doubt as to what you can and cannot recycle, please read below or get in touch. We can accept clean waste timber, mixed MDF, chipboard and finished wood for recycling into new materials and products. Barr accepts all types of metals, for reprocessing and moulting; at each of our four sites and skip hire can be provided to assist in the segregation and uplift of metals.

Our domestic hire duration is 7 days, however the commercial hire duration will be supportive of your project requirements. We deliver skips in sizes ranging from 8 to 40 yards, covered and uncovered, right to wherever you need.
