Bamber Bridge Football Club

Bamber Bridge Football Club are a football staff based at QED Stadium in Bamber Bridge, near Preston, Lancashire. The current club was established in 1974 after the amalgamation with neighbouring club, Walton-le-Dale to form the present Bamber Bridge Football Club as we know it today. The club joined the North West Counties League in 1990, and won successive promotions in 1992 and 1993 to enter the Unibond Northern Premier League. We earned promotion to the Premier Division in 1995 and won the league championship at the 1st attempt, although they were ineligible for promotion to the Conference.
