My name is Rob Varnam and I am the owner of AutoFix. I have over 18 years experience within the motor repair trade and have worked within many independent garages and several dealerships. From leaving school, aged 17, I joined the Royal Navy as an Aircraft Engineering Mechanic (AEM) and after a short period, I was promoted to Artificer (AEM), following high practical and theoretical test results, by my senior officers. Unfortunately, after a period of time, personal family circumstances led me to return home, leaving my Naval career behind.After spending many years in garages I decided to start my own mobile car mechanic business. AutoFix Mobile Mechanics was established in 2008, providing a comprehensive mobile car repair service for Nottinghamshire and parts of Derbyshire. Since that time I have gained many loyal, honest and lovely customers. Recently we have opened our garage and have premises in Mansfield.
AutoFix is a family run business, with my wife helping and I am hoping that my children will take a keen interest as they grow up.
I take great pride in being an experienced car mechanic and in giving my customers the best service at the most realistic prices.
AutoFix only sources parts from the most reliable of manufacturers, who produce OE quality parts. They are then fitted to vehicles with a guarantee that the job is completed to the highest of standards. Making sure our customers needs come first, and their vehicle safely returned to the road.
