Established in 1989 by a group of parents and specialists concerned by the lack of Autism services in Northern Ireland, Autism NI seeks to make sure that people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their carers have approach to appropriate services, enabling people with Autism to become valued members of the community. The major areas of our work are: family support, info and advice, branch support, training, awareness raising, helpline, resource centre, political lobbying, research, policy change and strategic planning.
