Aurora Vet Clinic
read moreAurora Veterinary Clinic is an independent small animal practice located in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen. The practice was established in February 2006 by our senior veterinary surgeon Andrew Stalker, whom still owns and manages the practice in partnership with our other senior veterinary surgeon Kevin Davidson. The practice has grown over the years to accommodate five veterinary surgeons, five veterinary nurses and two receptionists, providing veterinary care to patients from the Bucksburn area, Aberdeen City and across Aberdeenshire.
About Us
read moreWe have our own convenient car park with allocated parking spaces for our clients. The entrance to the practice is found directly from the car park. Our reception is bright and welcoming. We have pet weighing scales available for our clients to use and we stock James Wellbeloved cat and dog life stage food as well as a selection of pet accessories for sale. We are happy for people to pop in to meet us or for pet care advice. In 2010 we added a third consultation room. Each room has a non-slip floor for dogs and is fully equipped.

Pet Information from Aurora Vet
read moreThis is a quick overview of the most important things to consider. When you get a new pet the first thing to do is to book it in at the clinic for an initial health check and we will discuss all these topics and more at the appointment. Dogs should be routinely protected against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis and leptospirosis. New puppies get a 3 injection primary course at 8,10 and 14 weeks. Older dogs get a 2 injection primary course, with two injections 2-4 weeks apart. All dogs then get an annual booster injection to maintain immunity.
Aurora Vet Clinic
read moreAt Aurora our aim has always been to provide the highest level of care at an affordable, transparent and fair price. We do not believe in the approach of short-term offers or subscription schemes to tempt clients in to the practice, but instead aim to maintain consistently high standards and competitive pricing across all of the medical & surgical services, medications and products we provide, with regular appraisal to ensure we continue to do so. A visit to the vets can be an anxious time without the concern of an unexpectedly large bill.
