Our sustainable grass fed beef is selected only from British beef-suckler herds to a specific classification and purchased whole to retain consistency. This helps to place our product in the top 1% of beef in the world. We mature in the time-honoured way, on the bone in five scientifically structured dry-ageing chambers where space, air flow and humidity are at optimum levels.

read moreAubrey Allen was passionate about education and was innovative in his business thinking driven by his desire to escape poverty. Indeed he obtained the first slaughter licence in Coventry and used to do the slaughtering himself on a piece of grazing land he purchased to rear the animals. Innovation and Education remain at the centre of what we do today and in 2009 the Meat Trades Journal named us ‘The Most Innovative Butcher in Britain'.
