With 9 floodlit courts in a sports club location, we have a clubhouse with a bar, a children's play area and ample car parking. We offer social mix in sessions for Full and Beginner/Improver members 6 days a week, all year round. Competitive tennis is played in the form of Men's and Ladies' teams as well as a full range of club tournaments. Individual and group coaching sessions are always available.

It is available to hire for both members and the general public. read moreAshford LTC are running three ladies' teams in the Surrey league this winter and one in the Woking League. Surrey league matches are played at weekends (usually Sunday mornings) while the Woking league matches are on weekday evenings (usually Mondays) in the Summer and at weekends in the Winter. Woking - Teams are made up of two pairs who play 2 sets (only) against both opponents. Points are awarded according to the number of sets won. We currently play in Division 1 in a four Division league and team members are generally selected from the 1st and 2nd teams.

read moreOver the last two years the tennis club has entered into Junior competitions in both summer and winter leagues. This came about after we had a continuous high number of young members wanting play for junior teams. Therefore we felt we were able to represent the Tennis Club to a good standard. We began by entering a couple of teams but have increased that to 6 for this summer's competition. There are 2-4 players per group with each group playing between 3-5 matches. There are qualifying matches after each group stage.

read moreWhether you are an absolute beginner or budding superstar, the camps will give you the opportunity to improve your tennis. This is done through playing games aimed at improving footwork, co-ordination and team spirit in a fun, safe environment.

read moreThese are held every year for full members of the club and are in 3 categories: Open, Veterans and Handicap. These are conventional knock-out tournaments, played over the best of 3 sets and take place throughout the summer. You must submit an entry form for these and the tournament secretary will arrange the draw. This will be sent to all entrants and also be displayed in the club house. Players are requested to complete each round by a specified date. The finals are played over one of 2 weekends in July and August - details of this year's competitions can be found in the tables below.

Please note a minimum of four children will be required. Mini Tennis Red is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on small courts with short rackets and soft balls. It's just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots. Mini Tennis Orange is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Red and is for players aged 8 and 9.

read moreThe sporting success of local players, coaches and volunteers was celebrated at the annual Spelthorne Sports Awards at Shepperton Studios on Tuesday 19 November. CONGRAULATIONS to Caroline Rutherford who has won the Best Sporting Personality at the Spelthorne Sports Awards for 2019. Caroline is a member of Ashford Tennis Club and we'd like to say well done on a well-deserved award! Caroline reached national level in swimming and international level in kayaking as a junior but devastatingly at 20 she was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (heart failure and disease) which put paid to her sporting life and dreams.
