We currently have a thriving and loyal client base for our shop and the catalogues that we produce. Catalogues are available in hard-copy or as an email attachment. Our shop is open seven days a week from Easter to Christmas. From mid January to Easter we open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and by appointment. We currently have always sold 2nd-hand and antiquarian books in these subjects and more recently, new books. We provide a very huge array of field guides for the naturalist and more academic tomes for the specialist.

read moreOur bookroom is open Monday to Saturday. The main town car park is a 150m walk away and we have a couple of car parking spaces at the The Nursery. Established over 30 years ago, we are a family business specialising in books on all aspects of natural history, gardening, botany and beekeeping. We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA), the senior trade body for dealers in antiquarian and rare books. We offer a very wide range of books from field guides to academic tomes and on to finely illustrated and antiquarian books.
