ARC fire was established some 15 years ago by the current directors. Following successive acquasitions by major fire engineering firms it was decided that the time was right to reform the firm under our own direct control. The need for fire detection equipment is driven by the necessity to protect both life and property and legislated for under the Fire Precautions(Workplace) Regulations 1997.

It had very specific Fire Risk Assessment requirements which also needed to be approved by 'Historic England'. With over 120 years of history, this 6th form college campus, including boarding houses, classrooms, administrative buildings, sports facilities and theatre has very many different fire and security requirements. The university facilities contractor was looking to replace the existing supplier, and move forward with a company who could provide the technical expertise and resource to manage a site this large.
