ANSON cut metal for the 1st time at 2 o'clock on the afternoon of the sixth December 1982. What was being produced was a 3 1502 Hammer Union Nut, and the actual cutting was retained as a keep sake. This 1st cut was the beginning of an extraordinary success story. The industry was seeking best quality products and traceability of materials with the Unions they purchased.
