We instructed Allcott to conduct a survey on a house we had made an offer on. The property was around 58 years old and needed quite a bit of updating. What we didn't know was that under the surface there were a considerable number of issues. Chris the surveyor undertook the most thorough survey we have ever experienced and prepared an exemplary and comprehensive report which clearly, objectively and concisely set out the outcomes of the survey.

We withdrew from the purchase as a result which saved us from the considerable cost and inconvenience which we would have incurred had we proceeded with the purchase. The customer service is also second to none with this firm and we can thoroughly recommend them. We will certainly use them again when we find another suitable property to purchase.

I got a building survey report done by Allcotts. The scheduling of the survey was organised by Allcotts through the estate agents who were selling the property. The survey report itself was extremely comprehensive and thorough. Prior to the survey, I had asked for special consideration to be given to two particular areas and these were covered in the report. The surveyor who prepared the report also responded promptly to a couple of e-mail queries I had after receiving the report. All in all a very professional job.

Mr Alcott was very efficient especially as we were still in lockdown. He was courteous and explained things to me clearly during the Specific Defect Survey and answers all my questions.
