Alan is currently undertaking a BTEC 3 in driver education, and he employs coaching techniques to deliver client-centred learning, where you learn at your own rate in in your own style. Alan welcomes beginners and all standards, especially the more nervous who can rely upon Alan's calm rapport. Alan's travel time to and from your appointments is not deducted from your tuition time - all appointments are of 2 hours and you receive the full time for which you pay. 2 hour appointments make more effective use of time and funds. Alan invites you to take an introductory appointment at a nominal price, so that you can decide whether you can work with him, and if so, then agree a reasonable rate of fees which you can afford and which Alan agrees earn him a living.

After 16 years of commercial driving, he qualified as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) and has been teaching the subject full-time since. He is currently graded B — the second highest grade awarded by the DVSA as the regulator of driving instructor standards. Alan welcomes all standards of driver, from complete beginners to those wishing to improve their driving techniques. He offers flexible booking arrangements and a range of payment options. 1 hour, 1 hour and 2 hour lessons are available.

read moreWith your provisional licence you may drive - with or without dual-controls, on all roads - including dual-carriageways, and with dual-controls, on motorways. Experience of driving on the roads will help you understand the questions in the theory test. You must pass the theory test before being allowed to book the practical test. If you acquire six or more penalty points on your licence during the first two years after passing your driving test, your licence will be revoked. You will be treated as though you had never driven a car.
