Our Councils for both the Farm Equipment sector and the Outdoor Power Equipment sector both meet three times a year. Our Board of Directors meets once a quarter to ensure the transparency and rationality of our financial plans. Our special interest groups include the Manufacturers' Group; the Training and Education Committee; the Chemical Applications Group; the Sprayer Testing Group; Service Managers Group and All-Terrain Vehicle Group.

The industry offers tools for households, municipalities, landscapers and greenkeepers to maintain our green surroundings. It also covers vehicles that are engineered to handle off-road and rough terrain. Outdoor Power Equipment members can request a seat at the OPE Council. The OPE Council meets every four months to discuss key issues that impact on the industry.

We operate in two divisions - the Farm Equipment Council and the Outdoor Power Equipment Council. The membership is categorised as either Full or Associate. The Associate members provide goods or services to the Full members. The AEA provides a wide range of services to it's members which can be seen across the site.

read moreThe farm equipment industry provides a wide range of machinery used on farms, including parts, components and accessories, and associated services. This includes a full range of equipment for use in the field, whether it be for cultivation, crop protection, grassland management or harvesting. It also covers machinery for handling and storage of crops, including forage crops, and for livestock husbandry. All of AEA's farm equipment members have the opportunity to nominate a representative to the Farm Equipment Council.
