Neurological Physiotherapy
read moreActive Health Physio provides Physiotherapy support for the following neurological conditions:

Stroke (cerebrovascular accident)

Multiple Sclerosis

Head injury

Parkinsons disease

Guillain-Barre syndrome

Spinal surgery

An initial neuro-physiotherapy assessment is required to help identify your hopes and goals as well as to determine your current level of physical activity and function. Then we discuss solutions for supporting our clients with a programme to optimise independence with physical activities. Getting the right advice is important for self-management and prevention of secondary complications that can occur with long-term neurological conditions.

The number of hip replacements and knee replacements has increased dramatically over the last decade while the average age of people receiving joint replacements is now younger.
