It began with just one man in an office in Penrith but his vision and commitment propelled the firm to our present position within the legal profession and we are indebted to him for this. Andrew retired in 2015 and sadly passed away in 2018 leaving behind a well established and high regarded legal practice with 3 offices, 5 Directors and over 25 staff. Andrew's passing marks the end of an era for Scott Duff & Co but our company will continue to bear his name and we will continue to seek to uphold his commitment to the highest standards of client care that made him so popular with his clients over the years.

A Dementia Friends Champion is a volunteer who encourages others to make a positive difference to people living with dementia in their community. They do this by giving them information about the personal impact of dementia, and what they can do to help. Megan is now able to provide training to those wishing to make a difference by becoming a Dementia Friend themselves and increasing their awareness and understanding of Dementia.

read moreWe took part in the Corporate Challenge for Eden Valley Hospice which ended in December 2017. The challenge involved the Hospice providing us with 50 and it was up to us to us to turn that 50 into as much as possible for the Hospice in return. For our Corporate Challenge this year we arranged a Family Halloween Party at Queens Party Bar in Carlisle with party games, a raffle, food and entertainment for the little ones, which helped us raise a fabulous total of 1056. We really appreciate all the help we received from all the local businesses who donated wonderful prizes for our raffle as well as all the people who bought party and raffle tickets.
